Tall, jolly and always carrying a charming smile in his face, Mr. Tony Alal Karim Khan is the Chairman of Khan’s Kitchen Limited. He is the man of versatile talents. His experiences in the world of culinary art are manifold, which makes him a master in his line of work. He is born in Khulna, Bangladesh and an Australian Citizen. He has more than 35 years of experience in the hotel industry.
He started his career from apprentice in culinary kitchen (F&B Production) & Hospitality Management in Singapore. He received his degrees from Sydney TAFE College, Human nutrition from Sydney University, HACCP in RMIT Melbourne & United State Public Health Department (USPHD) in Miami, USA.
He worked as Corporate Head Executive Chef, Director F&B of America, Caribbean, Australia, Middle Eastern- KSA, Papua new Guinea-Port Mosby, French, Netherlands, China, NZ, Islamabad, Mozambique, Africa “Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf” a world class five star hotel as GM, Managing Director for Sinha Hotels & Resorts. . He is also the president of “Tony Khan Institute and Hotel Management”.
He was awarded as a “Top 10 Chef of the World” in 1998 in Melbourne & "Chef of the Year" in 1991, in Pacific, Papua New Guinea.
His exciting, dynamic collection includes French, Mediterranean, Modern Australian, Middle East, Caribbean, African, Pacific Rim, Pan Asian cuisine, had a foot in practically all culinary camps from Singapore, Australia, French, Nether-lands, USA, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia & Mozambique. Celebrity Master Chef Tony Khan now is doing cooking shows on National and International Televisions.
He always looks forward to create his team and train them according to the requirement of the kitchen as international standard. He leads his team in such a way which would diminish each other’s weaknesses & can stand up their own strengths. He believes “Team is strength and team is trust”. Tony's vision is to provide quality cuisine, service and ensure safety of food to guest. His philosophy is hotel is an art and style. He motivates individual talents who are able to function hotel operation in strong hand as a team and also able to promote our community.
Now he is joining as Chairman of Khan’s Kitchen Limited. He will be in charge of the total food processing system of Khan’s Kitchen Limited. Khan’s kitchen will maintain its world class standard by cooking food with a world famous chef. Mr. Tony Khan will add value to Khan’s Kitchen that will usher new level of tasty food.
